October 17, 1989

The Loma Prieta Earthquake killed over 60 people, injured 3,757 and caused over $6,000,000 ,000 in damage.  It was the largest earthquake to occur since the 1906 Earthquake in San Francisco.

October 17th, 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of the 6.9  Loma Prieta Earthquake.  Please join us to remember the victims, rescuers and community members to helped serve others in their time of need.


Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is often associated with the battlefield.  Rescuers on the front lines at home are in need of help as well.

Please join our organization of former EMS/Fire/Police, medical and community members, in a moment of silence, as we remember the 62 victims and those injured at 5:04 PM on October 17, 2014.  The Oakland event will be held at Oakland Memorial Park,  East Mandela Pkwy & 13th St, Oakland California 94607 starting at 3PM.
